LifeLine is a government assistance program and potential subscribers must meet certain eligibility requirements. You may qualify based on household income level or if you participate in programs such as Food Stamps (SNAP), Medicaid, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), National School Lunch Program (NSL), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and more.
Budget Mobile California LifeLine Provides FREE Cell Phone Service
While cell phones have become part of everyday life for many people, paying an expensive cell phone bill can be difficult at times. In order to help people having a hard time paying their cell phone bill, Budget Mobile offers a free cell phone service that includes FREE unlimited calling minutes and FREE unlimited text messages, plus 250 Mb data.
This program that helps California citizens sign up for free phone service is known as the LifeLine program. Through the Budget Mobile LifeLine program, qualified individuals receive a free government phone and free phone service. There is no cost through Budget Mobile for the California LifeLine program.
By signing up for a free phone with free unlimited calls and text messages, you don’t have to worry about going over your minutes if you have a job interview over the phone, need to call and setup a doctors appointment, call for help in case your car breaks down, and the list goes on. The 250 Mb of free data is an added bonus.
