Budget Mobile Lifeline offers government assisted wireless services to low income families and individuals. We offer Lifeline discounts to qualified customers who meet certain eligibility requirements such as government assistance or a household income that is 135% - 150% below the federal poverty level depending on the Lifeline state. Low-Income Assistance
Low Income telephone assistance provides a discount on a subscriber's monthly bill and/or a reduction to the customary charge to commence service (activation fees). Eligibility is based on income or participation in assistance programs related to income.Typically, you are qualified to receive low income assistance if you participate in the below programs (varies by state.)
- Temporary Assistance to needy Families (TANF)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Food Stamps
- Medicaid
- Senior Citizen Low-Income Discount Plan (offered by the local gas or power company)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
- Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

Lifeline Service
The offering is a Lifeline-supported service. Only eligible consumers may enroll in the program and proof of eligibility documentation is necessary for enrollment. The program is limited to one benefit per household, consisting of either wireline or wireless service. Lifeline is a government benefit program, and consumers who willfully make false statements in order to obtain the benefit can be punished by fine or imprisonment or can be barred from the program. Free phones may take up to 10 business days for delivery once order is received.
